Flatcar

The kit includes trucks, Kadee Couplers, full main body and full underbody. The only piping not included in the kit is the main line from end to end with a T fitting to the air reservoir and the smaller line from the regulator to retainer valve.

As with all PNG kits, the frame is fully assembled with most of the holes on the sides and ends drilled. The frame and ship lapped deck is made from basswood. Most of the fitting are white metal except the 4 strap steps mounted on the ends of the sides. They are sand blaster stainless steel for added strength. Seems these parts are frequently subject to getting bent or broken off. All the brake rods and truss rods are 1/16" brass rod.

Pulp Wood Rack

I have necessary wood ordered. Should be here in the coming week. Kit includes all the lumber pictured plus brass rod the the cross braces and corner loops. Also included are the white metal NBW's and nut washers the fit over the cross braces.
